Volvo xc60 roof leak.
It s been back at the dealer over a week now with a leak in the roof.
When a sunroof drain does become plugged the common signs are either a wet headliner water dripping from the headliner wet roof pillar a damp carpet or water pooling in the foot wells.
A pillar leak cant access anything from the a pillar despite what other videos or pics show they are not the xc60 design took apart most of the trim and carpet underneath and found a leak that is coming from under the glove box on the lower right hand side.

A water leak on xc60 can be caused by a construction fault by volvo.
Apparently dealerships pricing on parts varies which is pretty friggin lame.

The sunroof has two pieces on it whose purpose is to press down the wind guard when closing the sunroof.
I have the leaking from the top issue on my 2012 xc60 and was referred by my volvo dealership to an auto glass repair shop with similar results that should the windshield shatter when removed in order to reseal it the part will cost 695 09 part 31402265.
Took it to the volvo dealer they could not find the problem the ac and sun roof have no leaks but it is still wet.
I m assuming it wasn t a new leak so curious on how long it has been happening.

These drains are normally feed through the roof pillars and exit somewhere underneath the vehicle.
