Can a satisfactory finish be achieved with wet paint applied by someone that paints for a living but not wood or can vinyl wrap of some sort be applied on a diy basis.
It s very tough to get the stuff on without getting little bubbles and creases in it although a heat gun might help that.

If you spray the mdf and the vinyl and let them tack up before sticking them together you ll be good for years.

Without being rude but you dont understand the process of vinyl wrap the mdf panel is coated on all 4 sides first then the face and sides again are coated with a glue then the panel with the vinyl are encased within a confined space and heat with vacuum forms the vinyl to be applied to the panel thus the product.
A word to the wise though vinyl wrap is a total pain in the ass from my experience.
To achieve that longevity the adhesive must have a firm bond with the substrate.
